My hunter hit level 80 about 10 days ago. In between healing guilds on heroic and raiding I spent some time on her doing heroics and raiding... In the past month my guild has put Sartharion on farm and has been making steady progress into 10 men Naxx. We have cleared spider quarter and are pushing into the plague quarter. Although I enjoy my ventures into these raiding instances I am frequently reminded why raiding isn't for me.
In addition to having difficulty of finding a few uninterrupted hours to raid, my dexterity of a brown bear makes some raiding bosses supremely annoying. Coming to mind is Heigan the unclean where the entire raid has to run from corner to corner in between his poison walls. I don't do well in arcade games and fare poorly in instance where coordination is the determining factor of living and dying. I would hate even more if I am the reason the raid wiped. Thank goodness I haven't been the sole reason the raid wiped.
I still enjoy spending time with my friends but scheduling has been a pain. Very often I would be in instance when they come online and vice versa. Instead of continue to find people to run heroic dungeons I decided to find something a bit different to do.
I spent most of the long weekend playing in Wintergrasp. Much to my surprise I enjoyed the zone immensely. One thing I really like about it is that the battle is intense and brief. Each battle in theory can last up to 30 minutes but rarely in practice take more than 10 mins. Also it matters less about your gear level or spec as you can utilize siege machines as the primary means of achieving your objectives. Also as long as you participate in the fighting you will be rewarded with something. There are a number of daily quests you can pickup from wintergrasp that gives out stone keeper's shard, wintergrasp mark of honor, gold and honor points.
What is really exciting is that mark of honor and honor points appear to be easily farmable. Over a weekend of play I was able to net about 15 of Wintergrasp Mark of Honor, 19K honor points and 35 stone shards. Just 20-30 minutes a day for a few days have gotten me enough to get Titan-forged Sabatons of Triumph and I almost have enough to pick up a Hateful Gladiator's Wristguards of Trimph.

Cool! To be honest, i'm bored stiff with my hunter. If i had an epic flyer, it would be different, but now its just so painful to spend 10-15 min flying somewhere, do a daily, fly back 5 min, fly somewhere else 10-15 min, etc. And dailys are insanely boring at that.
I also decided that raiding isn't really for me, at least in this guild. At some point I may regain interest but right now I don't see that happening. I'd rather gear up my hunter to 2000-2500 dps then enter a raid when I'm ready (at that point there likely won't be many upgrades)
I'm currently running a DK which I will probably play for the forseeable future, with the goal to generate enough money via mining to get an epic flyer.
I think two or three man instances would be fun though.
