Happy holidays!

Gift exchange and secret Santa are in full swing down here in my company. To get into the holiday spirit I made this mini guide on my five top picks of the great in game gifts you can give to your friends or significant other.

Be warned that some of these items are pretty expensive or take significant amount of time investment to obtain. With this said this is a great way to show that in game special someone you care a lot about him/her.

  1. Tranquil Mechanical Yeti
This is a rare none combat pet made by engineer. In my opinion this is one of the coolest looking none combat pet in the game. The recipe needed to him is not straight forward to obtain and the material necessary to make one is pretty rare as well. If you are not lucky enough to pick one up from the auction house you will need to spam the trade channel and look for an engineer with this pattern. Either way it is likely to cost you in the neighborhood of between 50-100 GP.
  2. Gnomish Army Knife
This is a great stocking stuffer for all the MacGuyer lovers. The Swiss Gnomish army knife can be used as a Gyromatic Micro-Adjuster, a Arclight Spanner, a Flint and Tinder box, a Blacksmithing Hammer, a Mining Pick, or a Skinning Knife. It is cute, cheap and easily available. Made by engineer but not bind on pickup. You can pick this up from the auction house for as little as a few gold piece.
  3. Mana Wyrmling
This is one beautiful none combat pet! This little guy makes a perfect gift for any occasion. It is fair rarely seen in game because of the obscurity of the seller. This little guy also earns distinction as the most expesnive none combat pet money can buy. Costing a pretty 40 gp from Dealer Rashaad in netherstorm. Show some one how special he/she is by leaving this pet under his/her virtual Christmas tree.
  4. Delicious Chocolate Cake
A gift of gifts. This delicious chocolate cake is made by master cooks using a rare outland cooking recipe. If your special someone spend 5 secs eating this, he/she will become Very Happy for 1.00 hour. Romantic lore commonly identifies chocolate as an aphrodisiac. Wonder if this works virtually as well as in real life.
  5. Green Winter Clothes (for alliance) or Red Winter Clothes (for horde)
If all else fail. Shirt/tie has been a old standbys for millions gift givers. If you can't get hold of any of the above items you should consider pick up a wonderfully set of beautiful winter cloth. Just make sure you pickup the version that is not commonly available for your fraction (this means red for the horde and green for the alliance). The only way for a tailor to get the recipe not commonly available for his/her fraction is by venturing into enemy capital under PvP fire. Although you may not have to die to get the cloth your wallet will surely feel the pinch. On my server this will set you back between 30-60 GP.
After you get your gift(s) of choice don't forget to obtain some ribboned wrapping paper to propely prepare your gift before mailing.

I hope you had fun with this mini guide. If you additional suggestion please drop me a line!

Happy holidays!
