The true cost of your profession (enchanting)

Okay. The enchanting plot is ready. Refer to my original posting on tailoring on how to read these plots.

1). Plot 1, cost in gp plotted against skill points gained.
2). Running total of all GP spent to skill point 375
Observations:
much more expensive than tailoring (at least 500 GP more expensive).
There are two maximums: around 300 and around 375. I also found that
there is a huge jump in cost whenever you have to create an new rod.

Not sure your running total is right, since it should always be increasing. A guildie said he powerleveled enchant and it cost 2500g, so this seems withing the ballpark. Of course it totally depends on your server.

Like you mentioned there are two collosally huge humps, at 300 and at 375. Well, getting to 370 isn't terrible thanks to the SSO defense pattern, but the fact that you have to get a new rod at 360 and another at 370 really stinks (and i'm guessing will be nerfed or something in expansion). At 300 i remember a pat requiring 8 dust which was the cheapest way to get from 290 to 300, and the dust sold for 2-3g each, so you ended up droping close to 200g for that last stretch. That hurt.

Laugh, you are right, my formula in excel was off. I corrected the running total.
